WinterNationals is a bible quizzing tournament held every year in Sacandaga, NY in early January. The style of quizzing is CMA. Besides quizzing, the tournament is a great time to reconnect with friends from other districts. Enjoy sledding, a full size gym, ping pong or just hanging out.

We follow the CMA rules. You can view the rule book here. There will be a round robin portion to the tournament, and then an elimination tournament. Every team is guaranteed at least 6 quizzes.

We welcome any team from any style of quizzing to join us. In the past teams have traveled from as far away as Ohio and South Carolina to participate.

Any quizzer who will be 20 years old or younger on the day of the tournament can quiz, even if they are normally ineligible for CMA quizzing, unless they are married. Any teen who is married will be ineligible to quiz. In addition, there is no lower age limit at this tournament. In the past we have had some Junior quizzers participate in the tournament, and this is acceptable. Obviously, if they do not cover all the material they may be at a disadvantage, but they can still quiz.

While we call it "Winter Nationals", you do not need to represent your district or bring an all-star team. In fact, most team will represent the church or zone level, with a few representing a district. Any and all teams should feel free to come, and all levels of teams are welcome to participate
